MAY 2021: OVERVIEW: I stayed in San Pedro La Laguna (SPLL), Lake Atitlan, Guatemala for 4 months during COVID-19. Generally speaking, SPLL is pretty safe with bars and restaurants closing at 9pm. Alas, only about 50% of people there wear masks… and we had a COVID outbreak that came out of one of the young, party bars near the main Boat Dock. AUGUST 2019: OVERVIEW: This is not a typical GRANDPAcking Post. This post is about my personal journey through Transylvania, Romania. It was such a pleasant experience that I felt that it needed to be told. I did not want the experience nor the pictures to be lost. Enjoy.
